5 Custom Audiences You Must Create In Your Ads Manager

Creating custom audiences in your Facebook ads manager is really powerful. I’ll explain why and how you can easily do this.

In marketing there are 3 types of audiences: cold, warm and hot.

When you run ads to a cold market in Facebook these people have absolutely no idea who you are. Therefore, the chances of them clicking your advert is much lower and the cost will be much higher.

Warm audiences are people who are already aware of who you are for example your email list, Facebook fans (likes) and followers. Running ads to this type of audience will typically result in higher conversions and lower cost per click.

In the past the only way we could target our warm audience on Facebook was by running a post to your likes of your page.

Facebook has now give us more options with the addition of Facebook page engagement custom audiences you can now create a audience who specifically have engaged with your posts or ads within a specific period of time.

There are 5 custom audiences I recommend you should go and create today:

  1. People who have engaged with your posts over time period of 30, 60, 90, 150 and 180 days.
  2. Anyone who visited your page
  3. People who clicked any call to action button
  4. People who sent a message to your page
  5. People who saved your page or any post
